New Hampshire Life Sciences (NHLS), a newly formed trade group that supports the Granite State’s life sciences industry, has signed two companies that employ hundreds of workers as its inaugural founding members: Novocure and Novo Nordisk.

New Hampshire Life Sciences launches with mission to make Granite State a national hub for the industry. Novocure and Novo Nordisk join as first founding members, BIA and MassBio join as collaborative partners.

The New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs (BEA) today announced the findings of a statewide life sciences industry assessment, which found that the state’s life science workforce added 1,484 jobs, representing a 15.1% growth rate within the industry and 3.8% of the state’s total job growth between 2012 and 2021.
